Stag and hen weekend package 7
Hovercraft racing. You are taught how to operate a 1000cc, single seater racing hovercraft and then are let out, two at a time around the specially designed circuit over land and water. You will each get two practice goes before the fun really starts and you get on with the racing. You will need to kneel down in the hovercraft in order to control it. Just bring outdoor weather gear – everything else you need is provided at no extra cost. A group of 12 doing another activity alongside hovercrafting, for example, should set aside 3 hours. Archery. You are given instruction by Pam, a very experienced instructor, who has taught over 3000 people to shoot in the last 5 years. She’ll show you the basics and then get you shooting your own arrows. Lots of them. When you have all had a couple of rounds of practice, you start the competition which always gets intense and is a great laugh. Often groups go with archery because it is a bit cheaper than the other activities and always have a better time than they were expecting. White water rafting. Your group will sign in, get changed and then be taken to the river side with your raft where you will undergo a 10 minute safety talk. Then, as a group, you take your raft up the river and launch. The instructors will get you attacking other rafts and direct you into the rapids, where one or two are prone to falling out. Once you’ve paddled back to the start, you do it all over again. You need a minimum of 8 people in your raft, so if your group total is not divisible by 8, you will probably share with another group to make up the numbers.
